Principal Message

Education is the key to eliminate gender inequality, to reduce poverty, to create a sustainable planet and to foster peace. Improvements to female education will provide a country with more knowledgeable workforce, healthier families and ultimately a prosperous societies. Bakhtawar Cadet College for Girls, being the first institution of its kind in Pakistan, aims at providing quality education to female cadets and empowering them to see that they have the ability to be a great generation. I would like to ensure that my cadets are getting the best education. Our futuristic and result oriented approach to teaching and learning is producing real dividends for our cadets. I would like to felicitate my faculty and cadets on achieving the best results in outdoor competitions on national and international level. We cannot always build the future for our youth, but we can build our youth for the future. Let me remind my students, the Bakhtawarians, that you could be the best doctors, great teachers, military officers and researchers of times to come and the Leaders of Tomorrow only if you are keen to excel in all your target oriented endeavors.   • RESULT OF SSC-II Science Biology

      Congratulations to Bakhtwarians. 54 cadets have secured A-1 grades and 2 cadets have secured A grade in SSC-II.

      • BAKHTAWARIAN'S BEARING 0CT-DEC 2019

          The first issue of Bakhtawar’s bearing was launched on 23rd January 2020.The newsletter aims to strengthen the bond between growing college, highlight new developments within the college and celebrate the achievements of our students as we want to capture all the activity and memories.

        • 30th IKMC Conducted

            30th International Kangaroo Mathematics Contest (IKMC) was held at BCCG on 8th Oct, 20 in which 120 cadets from different classes participated.

          • Bakhtawarians pay tribute to teachers

              Bakhtawarians celebrated teachers’ day, on 05 October 2020 to honor the teachers for their special contribution in imparting quality education and training with great zeal and zest.

            • Inter-House shooting competition

                Inter-House shooting competition was held on 3rd October 2020. Three best shooters from each house participated. After five firing attempts by each shooter, Kazians emerged as champions followed by Maruians as runners-up.

              • Basketball competition arranged

                  The fourth inter-house sports championship started on 28th September 2020 with basketball, played for two days from 28th to 29th Sept 2020. All the teams were energetic and played enthusiastically. After worth watching tough competition, Maruians emerged as champions of the tournament, while Jinnahians followed as runners-up of the tournament.

                  • Class X bid bye to their seniors

                      As class X (old) was going to sail for new journey of HSC, after successfully completing their SSC with flying colors, the class X arranged a colorful party for their seniors, on 25th September 2020 in the Open air Theatre of the college. The event was attended, beside cadets of Class X and XI, by all the teachers and principal.

                    • New Hostel (Jinnah House) inaugurated

                        Inauguration ceremony of Fatima Jinnah House was organized on 25th September 2020. Principal, S.M Yusuf graced the occasion as chief guest. The chief guest cut the inauguration cake. The event was attended by all the cadets of the four houses, the teachers and the administrative staff.

                      • IT Department Upgraded

                          A privately owned network to provide secure, reliable sharing sources and for smooth running of the internet was installed in computer Lab. Furthermore, Computer Lab got new layout to facilitate cadets in better way as the new layout allows the instructor to reach and help cadets easily.

                        • Islamic Orientation Workshop organized

                            To enable teachers to acquire new understanding and instructional skills focusing on creative learning environment based on Islamic teaching, two-day workshop was arranged on 9th to 10th September 2020 in collaboration with Da’wah Academy of International Islamic University.

                          • Shooting practice

                              Keeping in view the measurable health benefits both physical and mental, the shooting training for cadets was arranged from 9th to 18th September 2020 under supervision of ADPE who ensured observation of all the shooting rules, safety, security and standards of firing along with her team.

                            • College re-opens

                                After six months hiatus, college resumed academic activities directly from college. Keeping in view the safety of the cadets, a meeting of the academic council was held on 22nd August 2020 in which proper SOPs were designed for all the departments of the college. All the safety measures in this regard were considered which included the COVID-19 tests of all the staff members of the college, demand from cadets to provide negative report of COVID-19 before entering the college, provision of sanitizing gates at the Houses and Academic Block, compulsorily wearing mask, etc. The two senior batches reported back at the college on 6th September 2020 and the junior two batches reported on 13th September 2020.
