Youm-e- Takbir Day Celebrated with Enthusiasm

Youm-e- Takbir Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervor on 28 May 2024, honoring Pakistan’s historic achievement of becoming a nuclear power on May 28, 1998. The day’s events highlighted the importance of national defense and the role of women in contributing to the nation’s progress.

The event commenced with a tableau, cadets passionately sung national songs and the celebrations also featured compelling speeches by students in Urdu, English and Sindhi.

An educational quiz game was a major highlight of the day, testing the cadets’ knowledge of Pakistan’s history, nuclear science, and significant national achievements.

“Youme Takbir Day is a testament to the resilience and determination of our nation. It is a day to remember the achievements of our scientists and leaders who made this milestone possible. As future leaders, you have a critical role to play in the continued development and defense of our country,”said Principal BCCG Dr. Farida Shaikh, Chief Guest of the event while addressing the audience.

Third Passing Out Batch presented College Memento

Unique mementos express our deep emotions and love. In this regard, Third Batch of BCCG gifted memento of a warrior queen as a memorial for their Alma mater. The unique memento express the ambitions of our passing out batch, demonstrates their optimism and passion that they are born to fly. The whole process from designing to the selection of model was done by the Passing out cadets of Class XII. The memento was formally inaugurated on 17th May 2024 by Principal BCCG Dr. Farida Shaikh.

Bakhtawarians hope that the new beautiful entrance with the memento will reflect the spirit of our Third batch and also be a welcoming haven for the students of the coming times. While addressing the Cadets, Principal BCCG expressed her commendable remarks about the Third Batch of the College.

Principal BCCG visited CCS

Principal BCCG, Dr Farida Shaikh, was invited at Cadet College Sanghar to grace the Closing Ceremony of Inter Division Sports Championship as Chief Guest. The colourful ceremony commenced with various splendid sports events i.e. 100 & 200 Meter Races, Tug of War, Tent Pegging and Horse Show Jumping. Principal BCCG in her address appreciated and lauded the efforts of Commodore Zeeshan Ali SI(M) Commandant CCS for the magnificent conduct of IDSC and meticulous arrangements for the closing ceremony. She advised the cadets that they should remain focused on physical fitness along with their studies because a sound mind resides in a sound body. The colorful ceremony ended by prize distribution among the winning cadets & divisions. After ceremony, Dr Farida Shaikh performed tree plantation and endorsed her remarks in visitors’ book.

SEF arranged Workshop Session

Deputy Director Sindh Education Foundation Ms Naheed Abbasi, presided a workshop on May 10, 2024 at Public School Hyderabad. The workshop was attended by Principal and O/IC Hostels and Progress Section from BCCG and administrative officers of other Public, Private and Cadet Colleges. The crux of the meeting was to analyze the collaboration’s impact and review policies designed to cater the needs of boarding institutions. The topic highlighted by BCCG representatives was ‘Building trust bond of developing positive relationship among school management hostel staff and students.’ At the end, each college presented a concise overview of their academic governance.

Welcome Brisk Walk arranged for the New Entry 2024 (Class VIII)

Sports and games are hall-mark of cadet life. Keeping in view the benefits of sports activities as they physically and mentally flourish wellbeing and self-growth of the cadets, Physical Training Department of BCCG arranged Brisk Walk of Class VIII around the College Boundary. Principal BCCG also accompanied the Cadets in the walk. Unlike other forms of exercise, brisk walk has a lower risk of injury so the new intake has enjoyed the walk and also explored the College.

BCCG Conduct SSC Examination 2024

BCCG, as one of the BISE SBA Examination center, conducted SSC examinations. The SSC board examinations have started from 2nd May 2024 and shall be conducted till 10th May 2024. Under the dynamic leadership of Principal BCCG, O/IC Examination, Internal Superintendent, hardworking team of invigilators board exams are being supervised vigilantly.

BCCG being the pioneer Girls Cadet College welcomed the new intake of Eighth batch by hosting reception for the new Cadets of Class VIII and their parents on 28th April 2024.

Khtamul Quran at BCCG

Khatam Al-Quran ceremony was held at BCCG Mosque on 29th March 2024. Dars-e-Quran were made by Molana Islammudin, who have highlighted the importance of Ramadan and devotion of Muslims.
