Amid an atmosphere full of safety and adherence to precautionary measures due to Covid-19, The First Taraweeh prayers was performed in the mosque of BCCG on the First night of this year’s holy month of Ramadan on 13 April, 2021.
To start this blessed Ramadan, approx. two hundred fifty (250) people of the college staff including female cadets and teachers offered this ritual prayer with consistency and humility. The college management arranged refreshment for all the Muq`tadis in the mosque. Ms. Roohana Qureshi, Lecturer in Islamiat, is the overall in-charge of arranging Taraweeh in Mosque.
The Smart Classrooms were inaugurated with the hand of Mr. Abrar Jaffar, Deputy Commissioner, on 7th April, 2021. Bakhtawer Cadet College for Girls, being one of the only first Cadet Colleges that has taken another big step to provide the facilities of virtual learning and teaching. Admiring the technological advancements he said that the launch of these smart classrooms represents the series of initiatives in the developments of BCCG. Besides, Ms. Umme Rubab, Lecturer in computer science/OIC IT, demonstrated the various features and uses of the smart boards. Dr. Brig (Retd) Muhammad Amin, Principal BCCG, Ms. Iffat Masood, VP (Act), Academic Staff and the Cadets were present on the occasion.

The idea of having exclusive cadet college for girls at Nawabshah was conceived by Muhtrama Faryal Talpur who, as Zila Nazim Nawabshah, in 2005-6, recommended the scheme to P & D Department of Sindh. With her relentless efforts, she got the scheme approved and included in PSDP 2008-09. The ground breaking of the college was performed on 11th October 2010 by Mr. Asif Ali Zardari, the then President of Pakistan. Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah formally inaugurated college on 09th April 2021.
Dr. Brig (R) Muhammad Amin, Principal BCCG addressed to the teaching faculty and the administrative staff on 3 March, 2021 at Jinnah Auditorium. Addressing to the staff, he appreciated and recognized them for imparting quality education/training to the cadets. He declared that the BCCG College is one of the unique girls’ colleges of its kind. Assuring the best leadership and guidance, He stressed on the staff to be sincerely committed to their services professional dealing of the educational matters and instructed to be respectful and kind, especially towards female staff.
The Principal had a coordination meeting with Ms. Iffat Masood, VP (Act) senior warden, examination in charge, Mess Manager on 2 April, 2021 in the conference Room. The Principal, Dr. Brig (R) Muhammad Amin was briefed on the academic procedures, teaching and learning methodologies and techniques, systematic assessments of students, functioning of the hostels, routine and menu of the Cadets’ Mess.
The Principal along with Mrs. Amin and Ms. Iffat Masood, Vice Principal (Act) paid a visit to College hostels, and Cadets’ mess on 2 April, 2021.
He was warmly welcomed by the wardens, Ms. Bibi Halimat (senior), Ms. Ambreen, Ms. Rubab, Ms. Attifa and Mania Shakeel, Chief Cadet Captain of the college. He was briefed on the functioning and performances of the Cadet hostels and the Cadet’s Mess. Being highly impressed of the routine and the hostel activities, he encouraged the wardens to be meticulous in dealing with matters of the hostels.
A light refreshment was served to the Principal and the visiting team in Cadet’s Mess. Along with this, He met and held discussion with Mess manager issuing instruction to pay more attention on the hygiene in the Cadets’ Mess.

Interviews were Held for Successful Candidates of the Written Test From 29-03-2021 to 30-01-2021, interviews were set out of the successful candidates who appeared in the written test on 21st Feb 2021. Principal Ma'am Iffat Masood, Ms Sumeria Rajput lecturer in English, Senior Headmistress Ms Bibi Halimat and exam O/IC Ms Roohna Qureshi took the interviews of the aspirants.
On 5th March 2021, Principal Ms Iffat Massod inaugurated the 'Roti Maker Plant' located in Cadets' mess. Roti Plant will be helpful for the cook as it can make approx. Seven hundred tortillas in an hour. Besides, the plant contains a flour kneading machine as well.
Energetic Cadets of all four houses participated in the Tug of war match. Marium Mukhtyar House wore the crown of the champion, and Marui House remained runner-up. Besides, in the athletic competition, 100-meter race, 200-meter race, 400-Meter race, 4*100 Relay race, 4*400 Relay race, Shotput throw, Javelin throw, Discus throw and Long Jump matches had played among all four houses. All the Cadets showed outstanding performance. At the end of the event, Principal Ma'am Iffat Masood distributed certificates among the winner Cadets.
Ms Roohna Quershi, Lecturer in Islamiyat, organized the "Seerat Conference" on 24th March 2021. An inter-house competition followed by four segments namely, Naat, Recitation, Hif-e-Hadees and, Quiz had arranged. Marui House remained champion, and Fatima Jinnah House declared as runner-up house. The honourable Principal Ma'am Iffat Masood presented s to the Cheif Guest Pro. Dr Mehboob Dahri. In the end, Cheif Guest and the Principal awarded the shields to the winner and runner-up houses.
Bakhtawarains celebrated Pakistan Day with great zeal and zest in Jinnah Auditorium. Cadets delivered speeches and performed a drama on the history of Pakistan Day. Besides, An inter-house competition was arranged followed by two segments. The segments were singing national songs and sketch a presentation of Minar-e-Pakistan. Cadets of all four houses participated in the competition. Mariyam Mukhtiyar House was the overall champion, whereas Kazians remained runnerup for the contest. Ms Wengus Ansari, the lecturer in Pakistan Studies, was overall in charge of the event.
Taking educational trips to different places, students have incredible opportunities to equip themselves with valuable knowledge and strengthen personal skills. Besides obtaining educational knowledge through travelling, students also have chances to meet new friends, exchange culture with local people, and explore their fascinating ways of life. Keeping in view BCCG arranged a field trip of the class tenth’s Cadets to Chotiari Dam on 23rd Feb 2021.Ms Ambreen Abro, Ms Umm-e-Rubab and Ms Attifa Jabeen were accompanied with Cadets. Cadets left the college by sharp 07:00 am and arrived at the destination by 10:00 am. Cadets learnt the value of dam, asked the questions related to the history of the dam and mini islands located in the dam, observed the nature, and they left the place by 5:00 pm. The Cadets enjoyed the trip, and the event was covered by media as well
The Cadets of grade IX were taken to Bhandi Sugar Mill. Cadets observed the process of sugar making, as it the part of their syllabus. Cadets accompanied with teachers and security guards visited the mill, they returned back to college by 04:30 pm
On 11th March 2021, Cadets of grade VIII with class teachers, housemistress and security guards visited Pae Forest located in Nawabshah district. Cadets explored the forest and asked questions about different plants which had planted. A Tour guide was provided by the management. Cadets had lunch under the green trees and enjoyed the fresh air, and they returned to the college by 5:30 pm.
BCCG organized an interactive session on “Balanced Diet and Junk Food” under the supervision of Dr. Mohammad Siddique Rajput. Dr. Siddique talked about how health and wellness are important for the students. During his lecture, he emphasized the importance of breakfast and the intake of milk. Furthermore, he discussed the after-effects of junk food. Besides it, the honorable principal Ma'am Iffat Massod presented the souvenir to the chief guest, and College Speaker Cadet Sidra Anum was the host of the program
Prof Dr. Amanat Ali Jalbani visited the college on the 16th of March 2021 and delivered a motivational lecture on “Career Counseling” to Cadets. To the best of his motivation, he shared his nectar of life’s experiences and the points of self-development. Throughout his lecture, he shared various key points for how to be successful in life. Furthermore, the honorable principal Ms Iffat Massod presented the souvenir to the chief guest, and College Speaker Cadet Sidra Anum was the host of the program.
Despite the current crisis of COVID-19 the Cadets of BCCG participated in an online competition arranged by SST Public School Rashidabad. The enthusiastic Cadets appeared in the computer quiz, power point presentation (PPT) and digital art competition. Cadets had to prepare the digital art, PPT and quiz for “Artificial Intelligence”. They not only participated in the contest but they won it as well BCCG’s Cadets stood first for digital art, and second for computer quiz and PPT.

The department of IT and CS of BCCG organized the CS contest LOGIN-TECH’2021 started on the 1st of February and perorated on the 24th of February 2021, where the cadets of BCCG got a great chance to polish their Computer Science and Technology skills. The closing ceremony had held on the 24th of Feb 2021 in Jinnah Auditorium. Prof Dr Zahid Hussain, dean of the faculty of science and technology from QUEST SBA was the chief guest.
LOGIN-TECH’2021 aimed to provide the cadets with a platform to show talents in the field of technology. The contest had four competitions: Qwerty champ Software/Hardware Project Computer quiz Speed master and digital paint.
The Winner of Qwerty Champ was Cadet Muskan Rafique from Matric A. The award of best digital paint had taken by Cadet Maria Abbasi XI student. Furthermore, Cadet Mania Shakeel XI student won the computer quiz and the title of typing speed master had reserved by Cadet Zainab Raza of grade IX. This competition was a source of motivation for the students to boost computer knowledge, soft and Computer Programming skills.
BCCG, the first Cadet College for Girls in Pakistan conducted the fifth entry test on 21st Feb 2021. Candidates appeared in the written test across the country, and the number of the applicant was four hundred participants. Four major cities were selected for the test centers, namely Hyderabad, SBA, Sukkur and Okara. The test began at sharp 10:00 am in all centers. The candidates and staff followed the SOPs strictly, to wear mask was mandatory, and the candidates had to walk through sanitizer gates. Furthermore, the administration provided lunchboxes to the candidates during break time
The book fair, the first such event held in the college, was jointly organized by the librarian Ms Zainab Abro, college management and Book Lovers’ publishers from 21st Jan 2021 to 22nd Jan 2021. The publishing house belonged to Lahore. There were twenty bookstalls with three thousand books from multiple feilds. Approx two thousand visitors from different schools and college visited the book fair. Book lovers’ donated the books of fifty thousand rupees to the college. Further, they provided a discount from ten to thirty per-cent to the visitors, Cadets and faculty members. The academic and admin staff visited the event, and appreciated the efforts to promote reading culture in the college
Sukkur IBA (SIBA) testing service conducted tests for different vacant posts for the Board of Secondary Education, Shaheed Benazirabad (SBA) with complete collaboration of BCCG. The recruitment test had been conducted at BCCG on 13-02-2021 to 14-02-2021 Furthermore, test was conducted in different shifts. An approx number of candidates were four-thousand. BCCG provided the place to conduct the test, academic staff for invigilation, domestic and supporting staff to proceed with the test without any hindrance. Besides, SIBA’s top management, teams from Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC) and chairman SBA Board were part of the event. SIBA fulfilled the criteria of the standard testing service, and BCCG contributed with SIBA to maintain the quality of testing service. However, SOPs for COVID-19 were followed strictly, candidates were asked to pass through sanitized gates. And, to wear mask was mandatory. Furthermore, water bottles were provides to the candidates. The team of SIBA, SPSC and Mr Chairman were satisfied with the management of BCCG.
An award-giving ceremony for IKMC and IKLC was held at BCCG, Shaheed Benazirabdad (SBA) on 13th February 2021.The programme started at the auditorium with the tune of the national anthem. The speaker of the college, Cadet Sidra Anam compared the programme, in which the college Principal Mam Iffat Masood was the chief Guest. One and two-star badges for IKMC and IKSC were distributed among the cadets of grade VIII to grade XI. Different medals such as Gold, Silver and Bronze were distributed earlier. For IKMC Miss Iffat Masood was the contest coordinator, and Miss Rubina lecturer in Mathematics assisted her in guiding and training her to the students. For IKSC contest coordinator was Miss Bibi Halimat. Further, IT head Miss Umm-e-Rubab provided the technical support. In the end, the Principal in her speech praised the students for their performances. The audience was highly impressed by the performance of the hardworking cadets. The entire programme was a nice display of discipline by students and organizers.
BCCG is determined to enlighten its students with authentic knowledge, without being oblivious to the fecundity of modern notions. The International Kangaroo Linguistic Contest is one flower from the bouquet of the wonderful experiences that our students relish throughout the academic year. Every year, this contest aims to polish the linguistic skills of our students while familiarizing them with the norms of participating in International competitions. On 11th February 2021, the IKLC 2021 was held at college Jinnah auditorium, and results will be announced by 10th April 2021. A number of one-hundred and thirty students appeared in IKLC, and Miss Rukhsana Qurban was the program coordinator. Besides, Miss Alia Ali Bhutto assisted her in guiding and training her to the students. Further, Miss Umm-e-Rubab from IT provided the technical support.
Mr Atiq Raja Chairman Pakistan Youth Council and International Kashmir Cause Committee visited the college on 09-02-2021. Firstly, Principal Miss Iffat Masood presented the award of thanks and souvenir to the Chief Guest. Secondly, the chief guest discerned the posters portrayed by the cadets. And, he had an interactive session with the cadets. The theme of the session was "Kashmir the Land of Resilience". Mr Atiq discussed the history of the disputed land and the reasons for the issue. Furthermore, he motivated the cadets to raise their voices against the injustice of Kashmir, and to use relevant platforms to address for it. In the end, young cadets asked the relevant questions, and he answered the queries. Afterwards, the tree plantation program was held at the college. In the end, he saved remarks in the visitor's book.
IT department of BCCG conducted LOGIN-TECH contest' 2021 from 01-02-2021 to 04-02-2021. This contest is held every year. The computer contest provided a platform to the students to check and polish technical and soft skills. The computer contest had four segments. The names of segments were QWERTY CHAMP, Digital painting, Computer Quiz and Speed Master. Firstly, in QWERTY champ students' keyboard skills were measured. Secondly, in digital painting, the students had to paint the given picture on their screens. To test their memory students had to appear in a computer quiz, and they have to select the correct answer. The quiz was uploaded on Google quiz assignment. In last, the participants checked their finger movement on the keyboard. They assessed typing speed via SPEED MASTER software.
Group Captain Murtaza Nusrat PAF visited Bakhtawar Cadet College for Girls on 29-01-2020 to 30-01-2021. During his visit, he inspected all departments from, admin, academic and residency blocks. Besides, he guided the staff members with relevant innuendo. Firstly, in the morning assembly, the respected chief guest distributed medals, prizes and certificates for IKSC and IKMC participants. Secondly, addressed the energetic and diligent cadets. He said that young cadets are the leaders of the future generation; they will lead the country. They will succeed in the upcoming life challenges. Lastly, he had a meeting with the academic staff members. He appreciated teachers' efforts and endeavour. Moreover, he assigned new tasks for the improvement, advancement of the cadets.
All Sindh Inter-divisional tug of war women championship had held at Shaheed Benazirabad on 16th and 17th January 2021. They all represented the college well and worked brilliantly as a team. Bakhtawar Cadet College for girls won first and second pool matches and clinched the second position in All Sindh inter-divisional tug of war championship. Besides, BCCG team competed for first time in 4th All Sindh British Futsal championship, held at Hyderabad on 17th January. Cadets were motivated, determined and optimistic throughout the games, and managed to win the first match. However, they faced some tough competition, and the BCCG's team got the third position in futsal competition. BCCG students represented the Bakhtawar Cadet College for girls, and also the students embodied the entire division
A one-day extravaganza to celebrate one-hundred and forty-four birthday of Mohammad Ali Jinnah formally begun on Friday at Bakhtawar Cadet College for girls, Nawabshah.
The man who made Sindh the focal point of the world peace and was one of the few poets who have been proud of not only east but also west was paid homage by arranging Online Latif Conference on 22nd December 2020.
The outstanding performance of Bakhtawarians in BISE Hyderabad result of class X was rewarded in Award Ceremony of Shuhda-e-Kashmir Talent Award organized on 19th December 2020 at Jannat Auditorium Hayat Girls College.
To contribute to nationwide efforts for environment protection the cadets and staff including Principal planted around nine hundred saplings of Neem, Morinaga, etc, donated by District Forest Officer on 21st Feb 2020.
Send up examinations of class IX and X started from 20th Feb 2020 till 26th Feb 2020 in BCCG. Practicals of Computer Science, Biology, Chemistry and Physics are scheduled from 27th Feb to 29th Feb 2020.
An impressive First Parents Day ceremony was held at BCCG on 14th Feb 2020. Air Vice Marshal Ghulam Abbas Ghumman, SI (M),TBt (Chairman Board of Governors,BCCG) graced the occasion as chief guest. The first mega event of the first girls’ cadet college of Pakistan was attended by a large number of notables of the area, parents and guests.
The Closing Ceremony of Third Annual Inter-House Championship was organized at BCCG on 13th Feb 2020. After seven days of intense competition in different games, Marium Mukhtiar was adjudged as Champion House and Elsa Kazi as Runner-up House. The chief guest S.M Yusuf distributed medals and trophies among the winners.
The department of Information Technology Bakhtawar Cadet College organized Computer Science contest LOGIN-TECH’20 started on 31st January and perorated on 2nd February 2020, where the cadets of BCCG got a great chance to polish their Computer Science/Technology skills. It was the first time that such type of contest was arranged in BCCG. LOGIN-TECH’20 aimed to provide the cadets a platform to show their talent and to prove themselves in the field of computer technology. The contest was divided into four different competitions:
This competition was a source of motivation for the students to equip and boost their computer knowledge, advancement in technology, logical as well as Computer Programming skills.
Inter district women hockey championship was held on 30th January to 31st January 2020 at Nawabshah Hockey stadium which was organized by District Hockey Association Shaheed Benazirabad. A team of twenty two cadets representing themselves as Nawabshah White. Nawabshah white played with so well that they secured third position and Nawabshah color played with Khirpur, showing remarkable performance on the field they crowned as winner.
BCCG conducted Entry test on 19th January 2020 for class VIII to induct its fourth batch 2020-21. It was the first time that the test was held in three main district of Sindh including, Sukkur, Hyderabad and Shaheed Benazirabad on same day. A good number of aspired candidates appeared for the entry test
A team of six ebullient cadets participated in science exhibition 2020 at IBA Community Community College Naushahro Feroze on 16th January 2020 where the young scientist of BCCG presented their science projects with much confidence and competence, in form of display boards and researched based modals, clinched champions trophy
To celebrate the remarkable achievement of talented cadets of BCCG, the results of BISE SSC-I examination of class IX in which the overall passing percentage is 91.07% of students scoring with A-1 grade and 8.92% with A grade, a splendid dinner party was arranged on 14th January 2020.making the event more colorful, cadets delivered speeches, funny poems and dramas on learning and teaching experience they had in class IX. Facilitating the prizes to the position holders, the principal highly regarded teacher’s sincere dedication and cadet’s hard work, motivating them to bring sustainable positions in next class, he entitled them that they are the real elevators who can uplift the standard of college and the country.
A sports coaching camp was organized at BCCG for various sports games including cricket, badminton, football, hockey which was begun at 13th January and culminated on 24th of January 2020, arranged under competent trainers of Regional Olympic Association comprised of Syed Hassan Askari, Ayoob Mughal, Abid Ali Qureshi, Ghufran Ahmed Bukhari for the following games, under the instructions and supervision of Ms. Salma Khan, ADPE (Assistant Director physical Education). The camp was designed with a motive to facilitate the cadets broaden their exposure in various games and leaning about latest techniques and methods. The daily drilling of the following games remained quite fruitful for energetic cadets of BCCG.

The college introduced stitching club on 1st January 2020 which aims to encourage cadet’s creativity, self-confidence and fine motor skills with crafts. It was formally inaugurated by SM. Yusuf, Principal BCCG, on this occasion he highly appreciated the interest and efforts of the cadets putting in extra-curricular activities along with good records in curricular and co- curricular activities.
To welcome the New Year 2020 with great zeal, Bakhtawarians gathered to celebrate a welcome dinner party on 31 December 2019 in Al-Taam, the central mess of the college.

All Pakistan Elite Institute Talent Contest was held at Cadet College Larkana on 15-16 November 2019, where Cadet Sidra Anum participated in the English Declamation and secured third position. Cadet Mania Shakeel participated in Hifz-e-Iqbal and was nominated for consolation prize, Cadet Maria Abbasi appeared in English Essay Writing Contest.
International Kangaroo Linguistic Contest(IKLC) was held on 14th November 2019,In BCCG,in which around twenty cadets got registered to participate,under supervision of nominated invigilators.

Students are now able to program a programmable drone to perform mission tasks. By using advanced technologies students in the field of IT/Computer Science can serve in security monitoring, safety inspection, border surveillance and storm tracking. They can program a drone that have been armed with missiles and bombs in military attacks, protecting the lives of armed-forces personnel and can serve the nation that would otherwise be required to enter these combat zones.
