The idea of having exclusive cadet college for girls at Nawabshah was conceived by Muhtrama Faryal Talpur who, as Zila Nazim Nawabshah, in 2005-6, recommended the scheme to P & D Department of Sindh. With her relentless efforts, she got the scheme approved and included in PSDP 2008-09. The ground breaking of the college was performed on 11th October 2010 by Mr. Asif Ali Zardari, the then President of Pakistan. Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah formally inaugurated college on 09th April 2021.
Bakhtawar Cadet College for Girls, being the first institution of its kind in Pakistan, has always been pride and center of attention of Sindh Government. The Inauguration ceremony was marked by eye catching segments in which cadets amazed the audience by wonderful performances including march past parade which reflected the determination, bravery and sprit of cadets who are ready to serve their beloved country in every field of life, P.T in which cadets made audience speechless and astonished by their beautiful moves, gymnastic show was center of attention as cadets presented the show like the most decorated athletes.
The ceremony was attended by parents and the dignitaries of Pakistan. Appreciating the efforts of cadets and faculty the Chief Guest CM Murad Ali Shah said in his address, institutes like Bakhtawar Cadet College for Girls are real assets of our nation and assured the college administration to provide side by side support by Sindh Government to maintain the position of best girls cadet college in Pakistan while the principal BCCG said the vision behind this institution was to impart quality education to females of Sindh from class 8th to intermediate, and nurture their personalities to be female leaders of tomorrow. He also admired Muhtarma Faryal Talpur for her contribution to get approved the project with her relentless efforts. The chief guest also paid visit to the hub of the college where he was given briefing about college library, Language Lab, Sports Section and exhibition in which little scientists of Bakhtawar Cadet College displayed their researches and discoveries in the form of models.
The college successfully arranged the grand ceremony keeping in view the SOPs.
